Message from Toru Kawabe, master of Shinto ceremonies at Morinomiya, the shrine in the garden

There are 8 million kami, or deities in Japan.
All things, from the sun, the moon, the mountains, rivers, oceans, trees, flowers, waters, rain, and wind have a kami. At Morinomiya, you can observe these kami that reside in the gardens at Chinzanso from the large windows.
Morinomiya also worships Okuninushi no Kami, the diety of marriage, business, and connecting people.

This experience will allow participants to feel the kami of Japan and learn about the beautiful customs of Shinto. Additionally, a prayer will be made for all participants.

The following customs will be taught during the experience:
Tamagushi-hoten
・Two bows, two claps, one bow

The prayer will be made for travel safety, prosperous business, physical health, the fulfillment of desires, as well as others upon request.
We look forward to your visit to Morinomiya, where the kami of beautiful Japan await.
