Japanese sake-themed teatime: KUBOTA Afternoon Tea
In the spring of this year, which celebrates a century of the three-story pagoda at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo, a Japanese-style afternoon tea menu will be presented in collaboration with Kubota Sake.
Six kinds of sweets include jelly with the fragrant aroma and rich flavor of Manjyu accented with fruit, bonbon chocolates infused with the sweetness and depth of Junmai Ginjo, and other colorful creations made with delicious Kubota sake.
Savory dishes feature clam grilled in sake lees, bamboo shoots in mugwort miso, and a range of seasonal flavors.
As a welcome drink, a mild mix of Senju Junmai Ginjo and yuzu liqueur is served warm.
Then, to commemorate 100 years with the three-story pagoda, a Kubota Sake 3-type sampler set will be served with standard Manjyu and the pinnacle of the series, Manjyu Original Yeast YX Edition.
