Mejiro Woods Summer Dinner Buffet with the Sea of Clouds -YAKUMO-
Cool summer nights of delicious cuisine among the Mejiro woods!
A dinner buffet that can be enjoyed by the whole family features dishes thematically coinciding with the newly created Tokyo Sea of Clouds –YAKUMO-, such as vinegared amberjack with green onions and ginger, as well as dishes relating to the image of clouds in them like boiled pork slices in garlic sauce, and the creamy chicken summer vegetable fricassee.
Freshly grilled steak and Yaesu gyoza are prepared before guests’ eyes in the live kitchen with an enticing aroma.
The climax of the dinner arrives with the evening illumination, when for its last hour, the terrace is provided exclusively for the event, and guests can sip their drinks and unwind as they gaze out over the garden. The newly unveiled Tokyo Sea of Clouds –YAKUMO– promises to show a majestic vision of light, sound and wind sweeping across the garden.
To commemorate the start of the Tokyo Sea of Clouds –YAKUMO-, all adults attending the event on July 3rd (Fri.) and 4th (Sat.) will receive a special animal scroll as part of a collaboration between the Tokyo Sea of Clouds -YAKUMO– and Kyoto’s Kosanji Temple. (1 per person)

*Kabukimon Gate is closed.
*The Kandagawa River Gate can be used to access the hotel entrance from beside the Kandagawa River. (Open 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.)
This gate leads to a steep slope, so guests making use of wheelchairs or carrying heavy luggage are encouraged to access the hotel from the front entrance.

Tokyo Sea of Clouds -YAKUMO–
The Tokyo Sea of Clouds, one of Japan’s largest mist spectacles, is transformed by Japanese technology, landscaping, and performance, into –YAKUMO–, meaning layers upon layers of clouds. At night, light and sound create a special atmosphere conveying the heartbeat and breath of the garden.

Wind Chime Path
300 Edo wind chimes, manufactured using traditional methods since the Edo Period, have been placed along a garden path. Their nostalgic ringing brings a cool air to the hot summer.
